• Public Comment Open
The Upstate Workforce Board is seeking public comment on the Designation as a Workforce Area.  Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Ace, the Governor must designate and redesignate local workforce development areas within the state through consultation with the State Workforce Development Board, Chief Elected Officials and Local Workforce Boards.  We are in compliance with all requirements in order to qualify for redesignation.    We will accept comments through April 20, 2023.  Comments will be included in our submission to the state requesting redesignation.  Comments should be sent to Ms. Nikoya Shaw in the office of the Upstate Workforce Board via email at nikoya@upstatewb.org or by mail to Upstate Workforce Board, PO Box 5666, Spartanburg, SC 29304.  Should you have any questions, you may contact Ms. Shaw by phone at 864-596-2028 or by email.  read more »
